University of Calabar (UNICAL) offers Nursing Science as an undergraduate degree programme.

Nursing is a five-year (5) course in UNICAL, and admission into the course is highly competitive.

UNICAL Nursing Admission Requirements for 2025/2026 Academic Session

1. To be eligible to study Nursing in UNICAL in 2025, you must have a minimum of five (5) credits in your O’Level results, which can be from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB. These credits must include English Language and Mathematics.
2. Your O’level must not exceed two (2) sittings.
3. You must be at least 16 years of age at the time of admission.
4. Lastly, you must score at least 150 in UTME and meet the departmental cut off mark for Nursing Science.

UNICAL Direct Entry Admission Requirements for Nursing 2025/2026

1. To qualify for UNICAL Nursing Direct Entry admission in 2025, you must have a minimum of five (5) credits in your O’Level results, which can be from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB. These credits must include English Language and Mathematics.
2. Your O’level must not exceed two (2) sittings.
3. Be at least 16 years of age at the time of admission.
4. You can apply with your ND, HND or BSc.

UNICAL Cut off Mark for Nursing 2025

Here is University Of Calabar 2025 Nursing Admission cut off mark:

1. UNICAL Nursing admission cut off mark for the 2025/2026 academic session is 140 and above.
2. This means that to be eligible for UNICAL Post UTME screening and admission, you must score exactly 140 or above in your UTME.
3. However, due to the competitiveness of Nursing in UNICAL, scoring 230 and above in the UTME is considered a good JAMB score for admission this year.
