JAMB Announces New Date for 2025 Mock Test – Here is all you need to know.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has shifted the date for the 2025 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) from Saturday, 5 April 2025, to Thursday, 10 April 2025.

This change, according to the board, is to allow more time to put everything in place for a smooth and improved examination process.

In a statement released by JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, the board explained that the new date will help them finalise preparations and introduce fresh ideas to make the 2025 mock test one of the best ever.

“This adjustment aims to ensure that all necessary preparations are completed, incorporating a variety of innovations and enhancements designed to make this examination one of the best in history,” the statement read.

The board also noted that the increase in the number of examination centres for the 2025 exercise played a role in this decision.

For those wondering about the main UTME, JAMB confirmed that it will kick off as planned on 25 April 2025.

The mock test, however, serves as a practice run for candidates to get familiar with the examination process before the real deal.

The shift from 5 April to 10 April gives JAMB extra days to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Here is what to know about UTME Mock 2025.
